My profession involves reviewing finances of family-owned businesses to identify problems and opportunities. I feel an obligation to bring this fact-based and solution-oriented approach to Lansing.

My priorities include lowering taxes (repealing the Pension Tax and restoring the Homestead Property Tax Credit to those it was taken from) and reducing regulatory bureaucracy faced by small businesses.

How do you plan to bring your goals to fruition?

This will be accomplished by leading a discussion of the state’s spending priorities, drawing on my background interpreting budgets, while shedding light on inconsistencies between spending and our residents’ priorities.

What do you view as the most important responsibility of an elected official and why?

Without question, it’s to protect the values and institutions of the community he/she represents. Voters need to have reason to be confident in elected officials to do the right thing.

Returning our vote back to ALL THE CITIZENS of district 46, to inform, and be a catalyst in improvements, casting our vote for our benefit and not selling it out.

How do you plan to bring your goals to fruition?

By total dedicated representation of all the people of the district with honest dialogue and listening, working every day and making the casting of the vote originates from our district only.

Re-establish trust by constituents to fight for and preserve their vote to make their lives better. To be available to help and assist the people and stand-up for our rights.
