David Alan Haglund of Goodrich passed away Sept. 24, 2016 at Genesys Health Park.
He was 50.
David was born June 7, 1966 in Pontiac, the son of Michael and Barbara (Hiznay) Haglund. He married Lori Lentz on April 21, 1990. David worked for Genesee County. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching hockey. He especially loved his dogs and hunting.
David is survived by his wife, Lori; four children, Jeffrey, Jacob, Sydney, and Gregory; parents, Michael and Barbara; siblings, Douglas (Lynn) Haglund, Thomas (Alaina) Haglund, and Sarah (Eric) Wood; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Catherine Haglund, and Edward and Mary Hiznay; and cousins, Wendy Upton and Mariah Haglund.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Pastor Daniel Wonderly officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
