Area man wins $100,000 in Keno

Brandon Twp.-A 21-year-old Groveland Township man, who asked to remain anonymous, says he will purchase a used car, put a down payment on a home and move to Georgia after winning $100,000 in the Keno Millionaire Raffle.
The 2005 Brandon High School graduate, who lives with his parents, purchased the winning ticket at Bullfrogs Restaurant, 2225 Ortonville Road, on July 3 following a conversation with a state lottery official who had recently visited the restaurant.
‘The Keno guy told me, ‘if you’re going to play a game, this is the one. The Millionaire Raffle has the best odds of winning,?? said the man. ‘I don’t usually play the lottery’this was only the second time I’d ever purchased a ticket. I won about $80 another time.?
‘I almost passed on playing, but I figured why not?? he said. ‘I actually forgot about the ticket, then I checked the numbers on the computer and the first one was a loser but the second ticket I purchased won. I couldn’t believe it’the first thing I did was call my folks and let them know.?
‘I believe in fate’everything happens for a reason,? he said. This gives me a whole new hope.?
After taxes the man will take home about $71,000.
