Dean A. Salley Jr. of Waterford, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2016.
He was 66.
Beloved husband of Catherine for 27 years; loving father of late Dean Salley III, Shannon Salley, Joseph (Savannah) Salley, Adam Reynolds and Renee Reynolds; special grandfather of Mary (Adam) Pringle, Jessie Sewell, Jasmine Maxwell and Lily Daugherty; great grandfather of Jallissa and Calvin. Also survived by his parents Dean and Marilyn Salley Sr. and siblings Michael (Gerri) Salley, Steven (Brenda) Salley and Scott (Rebecca) Salley. Preceded in death by siblings Arthur (Theresa) Salley and DeAnn Salley. Dean worked for GM for 31 years. He was a 30 year member of CAI, the Rotary, Junior Jaycee’s, Boy Scout Leader of Troup #134. He volunteered at Children’s Village and was the recipient of the One Hand One Heart Award. Family will receive friends Friday May 20, 2016 from 3-9 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford.
