Goodrich- While the sign on the Goodrich Market Place will stay the same, inside will look a little different.
Since, June 30, Goodrich Market Place, 8175 S. State Road is under new ownership. Tim Yousif and Marvin Pattah along with other family members are the new owners of Goodrich Market Place and Goodrich Plaza.
‘We’re eager to help the community where ever possible,? said Pattah. ‘We’re glad to join this area’this is a great community with awesome people.?
With more than 26 years in the retail food business the family also owns Savon Foods and US Quality. Both food stores are located in Detroit.
While the same high quality Spartan Foods will remain, some new additions are also coming to Goodrich Market including Lotto, check cashing and expanded delicatessen, says Pattah.
‘Look for the same great meats, fresh vegetables and prices as before.?
Rick Cassabon, previous owner of Goodrich Market Place says the past 10 years have been great.
‘Cathy (Cassabon) and I are semi-retiring,? said Cassabon. ‘Unfortunately, things have to go on’it’s a new chapter in life.?
