Ortonville — Recently the Flint Metro League, the Associated Press, the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan along with others recognized the top Varsity Girls Basketball players for the 2024-25 season.
Brandon High School Girl:
Sophomore Ella Rizzo: Flint Metro League Second Team, Stars Division; The Detroit News All State Honorable Mention, Detroit Free Press All North Team and Detroit Free Press All State Honorable Mention, Flint Area Dream Team honorable mention and Team MVP.
Senior Kelsey Williamson: All Flint Metro League Honorable Mention, Stars Division and Blackhawk award.
Freshman Maddison Heverly: Most improve player, lead team in rebounds 8.5.
Goodrich High School:
Junior Tanner Schramm: Flint Metro League Second Team, Stars Division and Flint Area Dream Team, second team.
Senior Lucy Rafferty and Ella Aagesen: Flint Metro League Stars Division, Honorable Mention.
Junior Kayla Hairston: First Team AP All State, First Team Flint Area Dream Team, Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Divison 2 Best; Division 2, fourth team All State Detroit News.
