The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) announces that the closure of Glass Road both immediately east and west of M-15 (Ortonville Road) in Brandon Township has been postponed until June 28.
The closure had previously been announced for June 16.
Glass Road will be closed for the reconstruction and realignment of the Glass/M-15 intersection. During the closure, the detour route for traffic traveling east on Glass will be Wolfe, Grange Hall and Bird roads. The detour route for traffic traveling west on Glass will be Granger.
Once Glass Road is closed, it will remain closed until approximately Aug. 13.
The closure is being postponed to ensure enough time for necessary utility relocation.
