Because the 4th of July falls on a Sunday this year, Waste Management will maintain its regular waste collection schedule the week after Independence Day.
Trash collection is generally delayed by one day whenever a holiday occurs during a regular work week (Monday-Friday).
According to Brian Conaway, Waste Management’s community and muncipal relations manager, his company’s crews will be working a regular week, even on July 5 when most other businesses are closed.
