The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of suspicious circumstances at Pine Tree Elementary School on June 29.
According to an OCSD report, two juveniles were spotted sitting on the roof of the school at Pine Tree and Heights Roads. The responding deputy reported seeing two juvenile boys, ages 12 and 13, sitting on the edge of the roof’s southeast corner over the school entrance.
The boys told the deputy they were just sitting on the edge and hadn’t walked anywhere else on the roof. Both of the boys were returned home and into the custody of a grandmother and the other boy’s parents.
The deputy advised them not to go on the roof again.
