Two donations, one to Civic Center Park and one for Friendship Park, have been accepted for the Orion Township Parks and Recreation Department by the township board.
The Orion/Oxford Soccer League and the Clark Fund of Oxford have donated three picnic tables and one grill, valued at $1,776, to create a quaint picnic setting at the southern end of Civic Center Park, located on Joslyn Road near township hall.
Also accepted was the donation of seven trees (four White Pines and three Blue Spruce), valued at $1,350, from Dan MacLeish, Jr. and MacLeish Building, for the gazebo area at Friendship Park, located at the corner of Clarkston and Baldwin Roads.
