Brandon Twp.- The township board unanimously approved the rezoning of about 7 acres of land at the end of Betty Street to R1-B residential.
The rezoning, requested by Jim Isaacs and Frank Sullivan, will allow four 1-acre home sites. A conservation easement will be held by the township. The Department of Environmental Quality will conduct a wetlands assessment. Perk tests will need to be completed and design plans for a road will address wetlands issues.
‘The density is less than what you’d have for sewers,? said Building Director Tim Palulian at the board’s July 2 meeting. ‘Based on what they’ve proposed, it’s a good deal for the township.?
