Brandon Twp.- Non-recyclable large items will be collected from township residents at no charge during the month of September in the Rison Construction parking lot, 910 S. Ortonville Road.
The collection will take place on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays beginning Sept. 5. No items will be collected on Labor Day and all collections require an appointment.
In April, the township began taking appointments for year-round recyclable and large refuse collection through a contract with Bedrock Express.
The excavating company, located at 1290 N. M-15 in Groveland Township, agreed to provide the collection at an annual charge to the township of no more than $10,000, and also includes the non-recyclable collection during the month of September.
