On Oct. 11, Glitz NXT Salon, 4868 S. Baldwin Road, Orion Township, will host a Cut-A-Thon for Anthony Ireland, a 2002 Goodrich High School graduate diagnosed this summer with a grade III Ependymoma Brain Tumor. Ireland, 24, underwent surgery and found that it was cancerous. Since then, Anthony has been undergoing proton therapy and chemotherapy. The staff of Glitz and Anthony’s family and friends are planning the event to help raise funds to pay his many medical bills.
