Navy E4 Petty Officer Matthew Book, 21, returned to the United States Oct. 11 after a 29-month deployment to the Persian Gulf.
The 2006 Brandon High School graduate is on leave until Oct. 27, and will then report for duty in King’s Bay, Ga., where he will be stationed for the next three years.
Book is the grandson of Carl and Linda Hayes of Brandon Township.
