Woman says caller said he would kill her

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of suspicious circumstances on Cedar Key on March 7.
According to an OSCD report, a 37-year-old woman said she’d received a phone call that went on her answering machine. A male caller, obviously disguising his voice according to the report, said he “knew she was a substitute teacher” and that he was going to “come to her home on Cedar Key and kill her.”
The woman said she substitutes for Brandon Schools, and had recently spent a week there for psychologically disturbed high school students. She assumed one of them was the caller, because many knew she lived in Lake Orion and she was listed in the phone book.
The caller blocked the number so there was no information on Caller ID. The OCSD checked the area for any suspicious activity.
