The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of felonious assault with a rifle on Glanworth Street on March 22.
According to an OCSD report, a 49-year-old man started an argument with his neighbor, a 27-year-old man, over the man’s dogs. The 27-year-old man said he did not know the neighbor, who sounded intoxicated. He said he walked away, and a few minutes later, the neighbor was yelling at him again and pointing a rifle at him and his dogs.
The 49-year-old man told the OCSD that the rifle was not loaded. According to the report, the man seemed very intoxicated, and deputies found the rifle unloaded in the man’s home. He was taken to the Oakland County Jail for felonious assault.
