Sashabaw Middle School students spent their weekend helping out their planet.
On April 21, volunteers from the leadership and Academic Service Learning classes helped carry, sort and load electronics for recycling.
For Earth Day on April 22, students and parents put on their gloves and picked up trash along Maybee Road.
Both events are held twice a year.
