? If you get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally, you might live in a country founded by geniuses but run by idiots.
? Is the Center for Disease Control just another example of an ill-run government agency?
There’s been so many cases of mishandling like: lack of nurse training, lack of uniforms for Ebola workers, airplane scheduling, accidental exposures, etc. The CDC’s handling of these incidences does not bring comfort to anybody. In fact it promotes fear.
I started writing about the CDC just after the congressional hearings started in Washington Thursday, September 16.
I’ve learned these hearings are more for the speakers than the audience. But, I listened for a while.
One time the camera showed Obama pacing in the White House. I think that was his Ebola moment: He was wondering if the guy who jumped the WH fence, ran across the lawn and got into an elevator with him was carrying the virus.
Here’s what I’ve concluded about this congressional hearing: It was no different than the others.
Give me more money. Name a study committee. Delay until after the elections. There has been no cooperation from the other side of the isle.
And, it was started by President Bush. And, Clinton didn’t help.
