Blackhawks 61-Flint Southwestern 22

Brandon Twp.—The Brandon Blackhawks rolled up 563 yards of offensive scoring early and often en route to a 61-22 win over Flint Southwestern on Sept. 1 at Blackhawk stadium.
Eight different Blackhawks combined for 248 yards on 15 receptions. Led by BHS Senior Drew Hickmott with 4 receptions for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns. Landin Zull and Jacob Ryeson also caught TD passes.
BHS QB Lance Briolat had completed 14 passes on 19 attempts for 222 yards and four touchdowns. While Hickmott connected on 1 of 1 for 43 yards.
Nine different Blackhawks carried the ball for 315 yards on 28 carries. Landin Zull and Carter Aquilina each had a TD while Luke Hanson carried in two.

Drew Hickmott also scored on a 61 yard punt return for a Touchdown.
On defense Senior Wes Atkinson had 7 tackles and 1 sack; Freshman Luke Hanson 6 tackles and 1 sack and Junior Issac Miller 5 tackles and 1 sack. Special teams Senior Jacob Ryeson had 3 kick returns for 70 yards. Senior kicker Ben Querio was 7 for 8 on points after touchdowns.
