Owosso — On Sept. 23, the Brandon Blackhawks won a key road game by defeating Owosso 49-8. The offense displayed a balanced attack with 240 yards in the air and 228 yards rushing for 528 total yards. Blackhawks are 4-1 heading into the brawl with Goodrich at homecoming.
BHS Soph. Lance Briolat completed 14 passes on 21 attempts for 208 yards and 2 TDs. Rushing BHS Jr. Drew Hickmott 8 carries for 101 yards and 2 TDs, BHS Soph. Danny Protiva 12 carries for 91 yards and 1 TD, and BHS Sr. Landin Zull 9 carries for 45 yards and 1 TD.
Receiving BHS Jr. Drew Hickmott 4 receptions for 85 yards and BHS Sr. Joey Norris 4 receptions for 46 yard and 1 TD.
BHS Frosh. Luke Hanson total offense 6 touches for 77 yards and 2 TD.
On defense, BHS Jr.Jake Difalco 12 tackles and 2 sacks, BHS Jr. Issac Miller 2 fumble recoveries. Six players recorded multiple tackles.
On special teams BHS Sr. Kicker Ben Querio 7 for 7 on points after touchdowns.
