BLAYLOCK, EDNA MARIE, age 86, of Lake Orion, passed away June 25, 2025. She was born on October 28, 1938 in Vortex, Kentucky. Daughter of the late Omer and Bonnie Brewer (nee Taulbee). Loving wife of the late Marshall; dear mother of Della (Emil) Bivens, Marsha (Ron) Everett, Sue Ann Duncan, Troyle Blaylock and Lawrence Blaylock; proud grandmother of 12; great grandmother of many; dear sister of Arzela Kelly; she was preceded in death by 6 siblings. Edna learned to play the piano at age 5 and went on to play for the Old-Fashioned Pentecostal Church of Clarkston, where her father was the pastor. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Village Funeral Home, 135 South Street Ortonville. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Pastor Jeffery Chapman, officiating. Interment will follow at Ortonville Cemetery.
