Calling all book groups!
If your Clarkston area book discussion group is picking books for next season, Independence Township Library can help.
The library is offering ‘Book Group Kits to Go.? These bright bags contain multiple copies of a book that has previously been purchased for the library’s own book discussions groups.
Some of the kits also contain prepared discussion questions and background materials on the book and its author.
A representative of your book group can check out a kit for up to eight weeks and you may reserve your kit in advance.
The library is currently offering 31 different book kits with titles ranging from classics like ‘The Good Earth? to recent bestsellers like ‘The Nanny Diaries.?
