Jill Holling

HOLLING, JILL ANNE of Ortonville, Michigan; died suddenly September 19, 2021. She was 53.

Jill was born July 20, 1968 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Barbara (nee: Bidinger) and the late Frederick Holling.  She is survived by her loving son, Chance Adair; her mother Barbara Holling and her special friend Howard Christian; one brother, Frederick “Rick” Holling; her companion Don Snyder; her two fur babies, Bingo and Lola; Jill was a 1986 graduate of Brandon High School and a 1995 graduate of Walsh College.  She was employed by Beaumont Health as a Talent Acquisition Onboarding Coordinator, Human Resources.  She was formerly employed by Volunteers of America and a co-owner of MacPhee’s Restaurant and Pub in Ortonville.  Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 from St. Anne Catholic Church 825 S. Ortonville Road, Ortonville.  Fr. Craig Marion, Celebrant.   Interment will follow at Ortonville Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South Street, Ortonville, Michigan and after 10:15 a.m. Monday at the church.     So very sorry to hear about Jill’s passing. She was a kind loving person. I worked for her at the restaurant way back when.

    She was so fun and full of energy when we worked concessions together. Such a loss.
