Mike Stamper

scan0001A memorial luncheon in honor of Mike Stamper will be held from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at the Clarkston Lakes Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 4260 Dogwood Blvd.

Michael “Mike” Ivan Stamper, of Clarkston, former of Jasper, Ohio, died Dec. 14, 2015 while working in Cleveland.

He was 57.

Mike was born Aug. 13, 1958 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Ivan “Rex” Stamper of Jasper, Ohio and the late Bessie Mae Strawser Stamper.

On August 24, 1991, Mike was united in marriage to Deborah Searcy Stamper, who survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Tiffany Ann Stamper and fiancé Mark Hough and Crystal Marie Stamper both of Clarkston, Michigan; four grandchildren, A.J. Turner, Caiden Hough, “Jr” Hough and Lexi Hough; two brothers, Rex Stamper and wife Penny of Circleville, Ohio and Bill Stamper and wife Debra of Piketon, Ohio; one sister Pam Scott and husband Gene of Jasper, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Mark Stamper and a grandson.

Mike was a U.S. Army veteran and employed by Angona Commercial Construction.

Burial was in Bailey Chapel Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by American Legion Merritt Post 142 Waverly.
