HASKILL, ORLAN WENDEL of Metamora, Michigan.  Died June 21, 2020. He was 81.

Orlan was born in Libby, Montana on July 2, 1938 to the late Clayton and Violet (nee: Cline) Haskill. Orlan married the former Billie Dean Lovitt on December 30, 1960 in Garden City, Michigan.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Billie Haskill; two children, Shawn Teara Broughton and Jeffrey (Carol) Haskill; six grandchildren, Caitlyn, Joshua, Kyle, Jacob, Joel and Hope; six great grandchildren, Cody, Paige, Ava, Arrow, Sailor and Annabelle; one sister, Wanda (Roger) Elden; one brother, Norman (Shirley) Haskill. Orlan was a veteran of the U.S. Army-Vietnam having served as a Medic.  He retired from Chrysler Corp. as a Mechanical Engineer.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South Street, Ortonville, MI 48462. A prayer will be held at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Brian Johnson will preside.  Due to the governor’s restrictions we can only allow 10 people at a time in the funeral home to pay their respects.  Please plan on wearing a mask.
