Brandon Twp. — On Oct. 21, the Brandon Blackhawks defeated the Holly Bronchos 42-35 at Brandon.
BHS Soph. Quarterback # 9 Lance Briolat completed 15 of 18 passes for 261 yards and 4 TDs leading the Blackhawk offense to 549 yards total yards. The game was a rematch of week 8 of the season which the Blackhawks won, 31-13.
“Hats off to our neighbors from Holly for two hard fought weeks of football,” said Blackhawk Head Coach Brad Zube.
BHS Sr. #44 Landin Zull carried the ball 20 times for 115 yards and 1TD, while BHS Jr. #20 Drew Hickmott rushed 14 times for 115 yards and 1 TD. He also had 7 receptions for 137 yards and 2 TDs.
On defense, BHS Sr. #57 Brennan Johnson had 10 tackles; BHS Jr. #42 Issac Miller 9 tackles, 1 sack;
BHS Kr/ #33 Jake Difalco 9 tackles, 2 sacks; BHS Sr. # 76 Isiah Moore 6 tackles, 1 sack; BHS Soph. #18 Danny Protiva 4 tackles, 1 interception and Hickmott 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
