Public Notice: Brandon Township

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Brandon Township Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing MAY 28.2019 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Brandon Township Office, 395 Mill Street, Ortonville, Michigan 48462.
To consider the following Supplemental Ordinance amendments:
Chapter 46, Article 111, Section 46-204(b)(3) -to amend the permitted uses in the Rural Estates (RE) district to delete the provision requiring that no two adult foster care facilities be located within 500 feet of each other as measured linearly between the closest property lines and to include state licensed residential facilities, including adult foster care facilities, consistent with state law.
Chapter 46, Article 111, Section 46-204(c)(2) – to amend the special uses in the Rural Estates (RE) district to delete the provision requiring that no two adult foster care facilities be located within 1,500 feet of each other as measured linearly between the closest property lines.
Chapter 46, Article 111, Section 46-205(b)(2) to amend the permitted uses in the Single Family Residential (R-1A and R-16) district to delete the provision requiring that no two adult foster care facilities be located within 500 feet of each other as measured linearly between the closest property lines and to include state licensed residential facilities, including adult foster care facilities, consistent with state law.
Chapter 46, Article 111, Section 46-205(c)(2) – to amend the special uses in the Single Family Residential (R-1A and R-16) district to delete the provision requiring that no two adult foster care facilities be located within 1,500 feet of each other as measured linearly between the closest property lines.
