BRANDON TOWNSHIP
2021 BOARD OF REVIEW
The MDHHS Order expiring 3/29/21 has imposed restrictions due to COVID regarding 2021 March Board of Review.   Brandon Township will hold March Board of Review virtually at 395 Mill Street on the following dates and times:
Tuesday March 2nd 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday March 8th 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday March 10th 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday March 12th 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED.  Please call 248-627-4918 Mon.-Fri. 8:30 am – 5:00 pm for an appointment.  Please have your parcel identification number when calling.     Please check in at the Assessing office at your scheduled time.  The Township will have a kiosk available for your use.  To prepare for the appeal it is suggested to have comparable sales, an appraisal and/or a market analysis from a realtor.  All materials for your appointment must be delivered  to the Township NO LATER THAN NOON ONE DAY PRIOR to your appointment.  For example, if you have a Monday appointment your materials must be delivered by noon on the  preceding Friday. The L-4035 will be provided by the Assessing Office or is available online at : http://www.michigan.gov/documents/l4035f_2658_7.pdf.

LETTERS OF APPEAL ARE ALSO ACCEPTED.  Appeals must be received in the Supervisor’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 12th, 2021.
Applications for Poverty Appeals are available in the Supervisor’s Office.  You must  show proof of household income by providing current copies of your Federal and State income tax return for 2020 and copies of  any other information to prove financial need.  Failure to provide the required information will result in denial of the poverty appeal.
