Brandon Twp.- T.D. & Associates was unanimously selected as the superintendent search firm to find a replacement for current school district superintendent Bart Jenniches who announced his resignation last summer.
At a cost of $17,500 the board approved the Grand Rapids area-based firm which will offer a guarantee and provide a survey of what the community needs from a superintendent. T.D. & Associates was used in 1996 to hire Jenniches.
School board president Beth Nuccio said a new superintendent should be in place by March 15, 2005.
Jenniches? last day is July 1, 2005.
‘Brandon School district is the process of selecting a new superintendent,? said Nuccio. ‘An element in the overall plan is to receive input from community members. Therefore, we are seeking ideas as to the characteristics you would like our new superintendent to possess.?
Citizens wishing to submit their list of potential attributes regarding the new superintendent can meet with Dr. Terre Davis, of T.D. and Associates. A report will be issued to the Board of Education for assistance.
