Ortonville-Larry Simms, owner of Simms Chevrolet, 110 M-15, Ortonville plans on expanding his growing dealership. Last month demolition crews removed the front section of the building in preparation for a new showroom, service greeting area, quick-lube and children’s play area. The two story addition, which should be completed by January 2005 will expand the current facility to about 55,000 square feet. Upgrades to offices and addition to the employee lunch area will also be added. Larry Simms purchased the dealership in 1992 from Owen Chevrolet which opened the M-15 location in 1979.
‘Business has grown over the past few years and we’re expanding to meet the needs of the community,? said Simms.
Simms says the full service dealership will remain open as usual during the construction.
