Truck Town Thunder State bound

Brandon Twp. — Truck Town Thunder (T3) the Brandon High School robotics team, recently completed their regular season district competitions for the 2025 year.
On March 1-2 Team T3 competed at the Ferndale event and on March 22-23 the Mason event. At Ferndale, T3 was part of the #3 seeded alliance after the qualifying rounds to vie for the Championship.  The team also won the Industrial Design award for the team that demonstrates industrial design principles, striking a balance between form, function, and aesthetics.
At the Mason competition, T3 was part of the #6 seeded alliance, and they also garnered the Excellence in Engineering award for the team that demonstrates a professional approach to the design process.
On April 3-5 With T3’s results at the two district competitions and their two awards, the team collected enough points to be invited to the Michigan State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University.   Here the team will strive to improve their game play and garner enough points to make the World Championship in Houston, on April 16-19.
