‘Strip’ padiddle causes car crash

It’s been known for bored travellers to play a game of ‘Padiddle? every now and then.
Padiddle’s where you yell the word when a passing vehicle with a headlight out is spotted. There are variations to how the game can be played out such as giving different points to different vehicle makes with a headlight out.
Well, four Springfield Township teens decided a strip version of the game would be their source of entertainment while driving late Tuesday, June 24, around 11:45 p.m.
‘This is a new one for me. I never heard that before,? Sgt. Frank Schipani of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department in Springfield Township laughed. ‘It was one guy and three girls. He must’ve been quite a stud.?
Unfortunately, the racy game ended abruptly in a collision with a tree.
The woman driver was attempting to take her pants off when she hit a tree on Hogback Lake. All of the teens were treated medically at Genesys Hospital.
Schipani said the vehicle occupants — all 17 to 18 years old — were close to being completely naked when the accident occurred.
