Atlas Twp.- Matthew and Rhonda McCarty have been planning the opening of McCarty’s Golf Center since last year.
The golf center was originally proposed for a location just north of Brown’s Do-it Center in Goodrich, but more space was required. The center’s approved location formerly housed Freeway Sports, at Hill Road and M-15.
The golf retail store, located at 10280 Hill Road is slated to open early May, says Rhonda, with a driving range set to open at the same address later this month. Opening of the golf center is pending final approval as of publication date.
