Oxford sent six grapplers to compete at the Michigan state high school wrestling championships held last week at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Of the six, only John Logan placed, taking seventh in the 215-pound weight class.
As for the others, Coach Scott Couch said, ‘They wrestled good but didn’t place.?
Looking back at 2006-07, Couch said, ‘Overall, it was a great season.?
‘We worked hard all the way through,? he said. ‘We set some records as a team.?
‘I look forward to putting things together and working hard next year,? Couch noted.
