The Lake Orion varsity girls soccer team is off to a good start this season, posting a 5-4 record, losing only four one-goal games.
The team went 4-3 against Troy Athens, 2-1 against Lahser, 2-1 against Rochester Adams and 2-1 against Clarkston.
The team has also beaten Troy, 5-1. On April 26, the Dragons defeated Holly 6-0. Jessica Boyle had two goals and two assists in that game.
Rachel Bemman scored two goals, and Jillian Whiteside contributed a goal to the win over Holly.
Lindsay Luch was in the net for Lake Orion for the shutout.
‘I have a good team with Jessica Boyle and Rachel Bemman scoring many of our goals,? said coach Ken Snage.
‘Holli Finneren, Shelley Marick and Jillian Whiteside are all difference-makers on the field.?
