The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a possible explosion in the pool area of Twin Lakes Country Club on Twin Lakes Drive in Oakland Township on Aug. 1.
According to an OCSD report, it was determined there had not actually been an explosion, but rather a 23-year-old woman had mixed unknown pool chemicals together, causing a reaction.
The woman was transported to Crittenton Hospital for treatment, and released. The Fire Department-Haz Mat team cleaned up the area.
