The meeting time for the Oxford Schools Board of Education has been changed from 7 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on August 24.
The meeting will be held at the new Oxford High School, located on N. Oxford Rd., and will be immediately followed by the dedication of the school’s new gymnasium at 7 p.m. in honor of long-time teacher and coach Ian Smith. Please see story in this week’s edition of The Leader for more information.
Also, the first home game for the girls varsity basketball team will begin shortly after the dedication. Come out and see all the excitement – including rooting for the Lady Cats at their first game!
