Bach will be celebrated with organ, vocal and instrumental music in chorales, cantatas and other numbers in a special ‘Festival of Bach? event at St. Augustine’s House on August 22 at 3 p.m.
This musical event is being coordinated by Gwen Toney, who has planned many such events according to Father Richard Herbel, the prior of the monastery.
There is no charge and the public is invited to attend and enjoy the wonderful music of Bach, who wrote so many of the compositions still popular today. For more information, please call 248-628-5155.
