Oxford Township resident Barb Kenyon will be happy to learn there is no black mold growing on the water tower located in the Red Barn subdivision.
At the Sept. 22 township meeting, Kenyon expressed concern there was what she believed to be black mold growing on the outside bottom of the elevated water storage tank.
However, according to a Sept. 23 e-mail from Connie Sims, environmental planner with the Oakland County Drain Commissioner’s Office, ‘it is not mold, but dust/dirt sticking to the condensation on the outside of the tower.?
