The Clarkston Wolves dashed the Lake Orion varsity football team’s hopes for a possible home game for their opening round in the MHSAA playoffs, defeating the Dragons 30-12 in Clarkston on Oct. 22. The win gave Clarkston the necessary six wins to guarantee a state playoff position, something Lake Orion accomplished with their sixth season win, over Troy Athens the previous week. The Dragons end their regular season with second place in OAA-I. Orion quarterback Brad Hood finished 14 of 28, with 125 yards against Clarkston.
