The Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas Parade rolled through downtown Oxford Saturday. A total of 80 entries participated in this year’s Disney-themed holiday extravaganza. Ten parade entries received various awards for their creativity and visual appeal. The winners are ? Best Commercial Walking: Independence Village of Waterstone; Best Commercial Float: Collier Lanes; Best Children’s Float: L.A. Dance; Best Service Organization: Oxford Parks and Recreation Department; Best Children’s Walking Entry: Cub Scout Pack 366; Best Religious Entry: Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ; Best Animal Entry: OHS Equestrian Team; Best Vehicle Entry: Oxford Fire Department; Best Theme Entry: Echo Grove Camp-Salvation Army; and Best Overall: Center Stage Dance Company.
