Throughout the month of January Lakeville Elementary students and staff donned their favorite hats to raise money for tsunami relief efforts in South Asia. Each day students paid at least $1 to wear their chapeau to school as part of their Helping All Tsunami Survivors (or H.A.T.S. for short) fund-raiser. Lakeville collected a grand total of $1,300. Pictured wearing some of the more unique hats are (from left) first-grader Alexis Hall, fifth-grader Elizabeth LaBrash, first-grader Brandon Wright and third-grader Bruce Wright. Good job Lakeville. Helping others is the greatest lesson of all.
