The Orion Township Board has granted Building Official Tom Berger permission to advertise for bids to demolish two abandoned houses, located at 4815 and 4829 Baldwin Road.
Notifications were sent to the property owner, as required by the property maintenance ordinance. However, the owner has not contacted the Building Department in response to the notifications, prompting the action from Berger.
The issue of the abandoned houses on Baldwin Road was first reported on by The Lake Orion Review in March.
