The Oxford Village Council Feb. 25 approved a $3,000 check to Creative Embroidery for 250 baseball-style hats with the new Scripter Park logo embroidered on the front of them.
Officials said the hats will be used to promote Oxford by giving some away to local volunteers as tokens of appreciation and possibly selling some at Celebrate Oxford in August. The hats were given out as gifts at the village’s annual appreciation dinner held Monday at Kalloway’s Restaurant and Pub. The dinner was to recognize all village board members, employees and volunteers.
