Addison Township offering reward

Officials in Addison Township are offering a $200 reward for information leading to police action concerning a pile of garbage that has appeared on Drahner Rd., just west of Walker Rd., across from the Addison Oaks Park.
‘Our police are awfully upset about it,? said Supervisor Bob Koski. ‘This is really upsetting because it’s happened just after we held our annual spring clean-up.?
Koski said the pile of trash is about eight to ten feet deep, eight to ten feet wide and at least three feet high. The mound contains household garbage and even a couch. He believes the pile was left sometime over the weekend.
‘We intend to try and clean it up,? said Koski. ‘Right now we’re trying to make arrangements with a local trash hauler.?
The mound was found on Monday by Sheriff’s Deputy Holly Hadac from the Addison Substation. She was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.
Anyone with information pertaining to the dumping of the garbage can contact either Bob Koski or Township Clerk Pauline Bennett at 248-628-3317.
