Handicapped student’s walker missing

A red-colored walker with wheels used by a 16-year-old high school student with cerebral palsy was reported to the Leader as missing from the Long Lake Woods subdivision in Orion.
The walker, valued at $1,500, was last scene Thursday, May 15 (the same day as the subdivision’s annual garage sale) at the school bus stop located at Waterview and Wildbrook.
According to dad Tom Brown, the walker is left at the bus stop everyday to aid his daughter as she walks between home and the bus stop.
Brown said the walker disappeared sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
