The Orion Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing for the Mill Lake Gardens Chloride #1 Special Assessment District on Oct. 6.
The hearing will take place at 8 p.m. The SAD is to help improve the quality of private roads in Mill Lake Gardens (Hill, Hazel and Mahopac) by applying chloride four times a year.
The total set-up fees for the SAD are $377 and the first year assessment is $1,301, with the estimated annual assessment after the first year being $924.
