A rollover accident Tuesday morning at the intersection of Baldwin and Granger roads sent one driver to the hospital and earned another a traffic ticket.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report, the accident occurred at approximately 9:25 a.m. when a 25-year-old Pontiac woman in a 1997 Saturn heading north on Baldwin Road attempted to turn left onto Granger Road and collided with a southbound vehicle.
A 43-year-old Goodrich woman was driving the oncoming vehicle, a 1995 Jeep.
The collision caused the Jeep to leave the road and rollover into a ditch on the west side of Baldwin Road.
As the Jeep skidded into the ditch, it flattened a road sign in its path.
The Goodrich driver was transported to Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Deputies cited the Pontiac driver for “failing to yield to the right-of-way.”
The woman told deputies she “didn’t see” the other vehicle coming, the report stated.
