Oxford’s only Haunted House (38 E. Burdick St.) opens its doors Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
Dubbed “Nightmare on Burdick St.: The Purple Gang Rides Again!,” the Haunted House is a fund-raiser for Oxford-Addison Youth Assistance.
The event features an outdoor corn maze, tour of the Purple Gang’s hideout, tales of Oxford’s Purple Gang connection plus a whole variety of scary surprises.
Here’s a schedule of when the house will be open:
• Thursday and Friday, Oct. 16 and 17: 7-10 p.m.
• Saturday Oct. 18: Noon to 3 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.
• Thursday and Friday, Oct. 23 and 24: 7-10 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 25: Noon to 3 p.m. and 7-10 p.m
• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Oct. 29-31: 7-10 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 1: Noon to 3 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.
The Saturday afternoon sessions are less intense and geared for small children.
