A 61-year-old Oxford man and a 45-year-old Rochester man were both cited for disorderly conduct after rolling around in the gravel on Sanders Road.
According to reports by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, the men got into a fight in Oxford Township after following each other in their respective vehicles from Baldwin Road at the Clarkston Road intersection. Apparently, the 45 year old, who was driving a propane delivery truck, pulled on to north bound Baldwin Road from Clarkston Road, in front of the Oxford man, who was driving a GMC pickup truck.
The Oxford man reportedly tailgated the propane truck before passing and cutting back in front. The truck driver said he almost lost control of his vehicle — so he followed the pickup truck up Baldwin, east on Seymour Lake Road then north on Sanders — where both men confronted each other. After pointed fingers and raised voices, a minute-long donnybrook ensued. They then agreed to wait for a deputy to plead their cases. When the deputy arrived, he took their statements and then issued them both a ticket for disorderly conduct.
